How an HPD mold violation gets cleared, and this week's buildings that need it
489 buildings on the list this week, matched to who to call. Every building here has 10+ apartments and an open class B or C HPD mold violation from the last 30 days, so Local Law 61 requires a licensed assessor.
HPD sets a mold violation's class by size: class A is under 10 square feet in a room (90 days to correct), class B is 10 to 29 square feet in a room (30 days), class C is 30 square feet or more in a room (21 days). In a building with 10 or more apartments, a class B or C violation is certified corrected with an affidavit from a licensed mold assessor and one from a licensed mold remediator, with copies of both New York State licenses. This page counts this week's buildings with 10+ apartments and an open class B or C mold violation, with who manages each one.

What each row has
The address, borough, ZIP, the open violation count, apartments, units, why-now stage and due date, what the inspector wrote, and the managing agent or owner HPD has on file.
Who it's for
Licensed mold assessors. The city publishes these records, but not as a call list: we pull them every week, drop what's closed, match each to the managing agent or owner, add the phone where the company has one, and rank by deadline.
